Roseann Tracy Building Relationships and Working Together

Building Relationships and Working Together

It was tennis that brought Roseann Tracy and her son JJ to Hilton Head Island, and it was the
community that made them feel instantly at home. “It was the people,” Roseann recalls. “We
drove onto the island and knew we were home.”

Roseann grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before arriving in Hilton
Head. “We moved here ten years ago so my son could attend Smith Stearns Tennis Academy,”
she explains. “It was just the two of us, so we made the decision; sold the house, packed the
car and the dogs, and here we are!” It was a bold move but turned into one of the best decisions
Roseann has ever made. “JJ loves it here as well and he now plays tennis at The Ohio State
University as a Junior,” she says proudly. “He is an All-American, and JJ and his doubles partner
just won the National Championship!”

With an MBA and a background in finance and banking, Roseann entered the Real Estate arena a little over two years ago, ready to build her business. She started at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hilton Head Bluffton Realty(BHHS) and is happily still there. “My co-workers are experienced, knowledgeable, and always ready to help each other out.” Roseann appreciates the family environment in the office and tells how she has learned something new from each co-worker there. “At BHHS we have a great team of leaders, with Bill True as our Managing Partner and Christina Galbreath-Gonzalez as our Broker-in-Charge,” she says enthusiastically. “They lead with integrity and are the very heart and foundation of our office, always available to support everyone.”

Living in Hilton Head for 10 years gave Roseann the opportunity to learn about the island and
appreciate the different communities and hidden gems. “Every community has a different
personality and lifestyle,” she says. “My goal is to understand my clients' needs and provide
them the information they need to find the community and lifestyle match that works for them.”
“I value my clients and their happiness is my happiness,” Roseann reports. “I want to help them
get to the next stage of their life where they can start making more memories.”

“Real estate is like sports, competitive, and a challenge,” Roseann says. “It’s a team sport and
that is why building relationships and working together is so important to me.” As Roseann and
JJ traveled around the country and the world for his junior tennis tournaments, they worked
together to tackle each situation along the way. It may have been charting out a tournament
schedule or learning to drive on the wrong side of the road in a different country! This
experience taught her many skills that she has applied to her real estate business. Roseann
says, “Navigating the junior tennis circuit, I gained a lot of experience in building relationships,
working together, strategic planning, and communication that I practice daily in real estate.”

Building relationships and working together is the heart of Roseann’s approach to business. She says, “In every real estate transaction we work with our clients, other agents, and many different professionals and I appreciate them all.” Roseann is always enthusiastic and quick to recognize the contributions of others. In addition, she has achieved several meaningful accomplishments during her short tenure as a realtor. In her first year, she received the National Honor Society award for BHHS earning a spot in the top 16% of BHHS agents worldwide in sales. Roseann has also become certified as a Luxury Collection Specialist while she continues to grow and build her business.

Roseann is looking forward to her next steps in real estate. “I have learned so much and met so
many talented, experienced people in every field,” she says. “We have many wonderful
professionals in Hilton Head and Bluffton, all with so much knowledge and integrity, and I’m
lucky to work with them.”
