Heart-driven team player Lea Anne Bedsole scales her business organically via relationships. “We’re matching hearts to homes,” she remarks. Embarking on her real estate journey in 2008, her diligence in her work and genuine compassion for the client has served her well in navigating the differing markets over the past 15 years.

Lea Anne undisputedly has an innate talent for nurturing relationships, which prompted John Jones–broker of John Jones Real Estate–to mention that she would make an excellent agent. At this point in time, she was ready to return to the workforce after caring for her children for the past 8 years, so she got her license and delved into studying the industry. Six months later, she sold her first home as her sister’s agent.

A Murfreesboro native, Lea Anne attended and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's in Psychology. She worked for Microsoft as an Internet Account Executive with the program Expedia. Although it was a “tough sale”, she gained invaluable knowledge and skills that she still applies extensively to this day in real estate.

Lea Anne refers to REALTORS® as “educators”, understanding that the average person purchases 2-3 homes in a lifetime and rely heavily upon the agent’s expertise. She is sincere when connecting with others, using social media as a useful tool to stay in touch.

“I have the best ladies”, Lea Anne comments on her thoughtfully selected team members, the majority being her friends beforehand. She wanted to work with people she knew, liked, and trusted, who also were relationship-based with a “servant’s heart” and an “attitude of excellence”. They’ve tripled their business within a short amount of time, implementing a heart-led strategy. “We’re working on changing the face of real estate,” she says.

This year, rather than focus on production goals, the team’s goal is to help as many people as they can. Whether this means giving a referral or serving the “voiceless”, they are determined to make an impact. They’ve decided to take the money they normally would use to find leads and donate to organizations such as Isaiah 117 House, Animal Beesley Foundation, and charities supporting the elderly.

Lea Anne has been married to her husband Mike for 25 years and they have 2 sons, Leo, who studies art education at Middle Tennessee State University, and Solan, who works with Mike for the family business; in addition, her adorable dog Fritz. When Lea Anne isn’t working or spending time with her family, she is riding her Harley, watching women’s basketball, reading, or watching a true crime documentary. She especially loves a trip to the mountains for a peaceful getaway.

Lea Anne conducts her life and business with authenticity and strives to add value to others’ lives, exemplifying the love of Christ. She is an avid gift giver and sends presents to celebrate huge life events or console someone going through a difficult time. Her go-to closing gifts are high-quality knives from Cutco Cutlery and she jokes, “If you ever use another agent, I will cut you.”

Lea Anne has been in the business long enough to know of the chaos that can brew behind the scenes during a transaction. “A great agent makes it look easy,” she remarks. She strongly believes an important aspect of her job is to make the process feel as seamless for the client as possible.

“The day-to-day joy is where you have to keep your mindset,” Lea Anne comments on enjoying the little things. She embraces life to the fullest, having fun yet working with utmost competence and excellence, staging every single listing, regardless of the market. She feels truly blessed to be in a career that she loves and the ability it allows her to make a difference in someone’s life.
