Abby Greenberg | The Golden Group w/ Compass

"Finding Balance & Standing Out"

In just two years, Abby Greenberg has made a name for herself in the competitive world of Orlando real estate. As a rising star with COMPASS, she’s the leader of The Golden Group, with their own office in downtown Lake Mary. With only two years in the industry, Abby's passion for real estate, marketing, and community involvement has already earned her prestigious awards like Real Producers® 35 Under 35 (2022), YPN 20 Under 40, and the ORRA Good Neighbor Award.  She prides herself in her unique blend of marketing, interior design, and house-flipping expertise, which have made her a force to be reckoned with.

Before entering the real estate world, Abby was a dedicated stay-at-home mom and a digital marketing entrepreneur, helping small businesses create aggressive marketing campaigns.

"I've always enjoyed real estate in some way or another...when I decided to go back into the workforce, real estate felt like the perfect opportunity to be able to combine my love for marketing and all things houses together," she explains. Within two weeks of getting her license, Abby had her first buyer under contract and four months later, she listed her first house.

For Greenberg, the favorite part of being a real estate agent is waking up every day and enjoying what she does. She believes that "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." Problem-solving and overcoming challenges are what drives her passion for the industry. She relishes every challenge her career throws her way. "Every day brings a new challenge, and I love the process of problem-solving to get to the closing table," she shares.

When defining success, Abby emphasizes the importance of balance. "I love that I get to choose who I work with every day; success is a balance of being profitable while doing what makes me happy every day," she states. Her typical day reflects this balance, as she juggles her roles as a single mom, real estate professional, and an active member of her community.

Abby credits her growth in the business to separating herself from those who did not share her vision and held her back from performing at her best. "Real estate is a competitive business, and I saw the most growth in my business when I took the advice from my mentors and removed the roadblocks from my business," she reveals.

What sets Abby apart from other agents is her resilience and ability to tackle challenges gracefully. "Overcoming adversity is my superpower, and I love finding the solution," she says. This attitude is invaluable when working with buyers or sellers who have unique circumstances but still need to reach the closing table successfully.

Finding Balance:
As a full-time single mother to her five-year-old daughter, Madison, and four-year-old son, Micah, Abby understands the importance of work-life balance. She has learned to delegate and surround herself with people she can trust to help her manage both her personal life and business. Time blocking and planning for the next day are crucial for her to maintain balance and productivity.

For Abby, weekends are a time to recharge. "I really enjoy going on weekend trips; getting away for a weekend when it fits into my schedule gives me the motivation to focus on work when I am home," she shares. This allows her to work hard and enjoy her time off when it comes.

2023 Focus:
This year, Abby is focusing on creating a more "intentional" business. She aims to narrow down her sphere to work with buyers and sellers she enjoys working with and can provide the most value to.

With her relentless drive for success and desire to continually improve, there's no doubt that Abby Greenberg and The Golden Group will continue to make a significant impact in the industry for years to come.
