Lynzy Sousley, Broker/Owner of Lynzy Sousley Real Estate Group, is more than just a successful real estate professional. She is a loving pet owner, a devoted mother, and a compassionate individual who brings a personal touch to every transaction. With her giant Schnauzer, Lucy, by her side, Lynzy approaches her work with integrity, dedication, and a deep understanding of the importance of finding the perfect home for each client.

 

Born and raised in Odessa, Lynzy's childhood was filled with love and cherished memories. Raised by her adopted mother, Lynzy matured early and developed a strong sense of responsibility.

 

“My childhood was great!” raves Lynzy. “I was very active in softball from a young age, playing competitively kept me grounded and busy. Other than that, I was a bit of a tomboy, riding four-wheelers, doing yard work, and working on things around the house. My best friend Katie and her family ‘The Palmers’ took me under their wing and I had the opportunity to experience and do things with them that most don’t get to.” Whether it was playing softball, swimming, fishing, tubing, or exploring the great outdoors, Lynzy's childhood was enriched by these experiences and shaped her into the person she is today.

 

Throughout her younger years, Lynzy envisioned a career in cardiology, inspired by her father's heart conditions. However, as she grew older, her heart led her towards law enforcement. After attending the Police Academy and working at a hospital, fate led her towards a different path – real estate. Encouraged by her mentor, Lance Marker, Lynzy obtained her license and embarked on her real estate journey in 2013.

 

Like any successful professional, Lynzy has faced her share of challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic presented unforeseen obstacles, but she adapted quickly, using technology to facilitate virtual showings and ensure her clients felt comfortable. More recently, the rise in interest rates has shifted the real estate landscape, creating new challenges in the market. Lynzy has navigated these changes by educating her clients about the market conditions and working diligently to achieve their goals.

 

Lynzy caters to her clients with her experience and expertise. She says, “I typically don’t meet someone that doesn’t end up becoming a friend. I stay humble and I treat every transaction big and small with the same attention to detail.”

 

She makes transactions as smooth and as stress-free as possible. “Personally, it brings me great joy to be that barrier and to take on some of those stresses to ensure my clients are enjoying the home buying or selling process.” Lynzy recognizes that buying or selling a home is such a huge milestone in life and helps clients avoid obstacles that can arise along the way.

 

“My family means everything to me,” says Lynzy. “I do it all for them.” When she was single, she adopted three boys from CPS:  Kayden (14), Boston (11), and Bentlee (9). “Learning how genetics, trauma, and prenatal exposure to drugs and alcohol affects their everyday life has had a huge impact on me. I learn something new each day.”

 

Lynzy married her best friend of 24 years, Jenna, in October 2020. Having a solid foundation of friendship has made their relationship stronger. Lynzy says, “The three boys love her so much and she was definitely our missing piece.” She feels blessed to be a stepmom to her three children: McKayla, Logan (21), and Haleigh (19).” In April 2020, they lost their oldest daughter McKayla to Ewing's Sarcoma at the age of 19. “Going through the pain of losing your child definitely gives you a realization of how important family is and how time is so precious.”

 

Looking ahead, Lynzy has set ambitious goals for both her career and personal life. She aspires to obtain her Bachelor's Degree, building upon her existing Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. In terms of her career, Lynzy aims to expand her knowledge into the commercial side of real estate, offering broader services to her clients. She recognizes the potential for growth and believes it will enrich not only her business but also her life as a whole.

 

Lynzy's personal and professional life are intertwined in a beautiful tapestry of love, resilience, and dedication.
