Growing up with pets has always been part of Alexa Buffalino DiVite's life. Her childhood was filled with the joy of four Keeshond dogs and five rabbits, instilling in her a lifelong love for animals. Today, that love continues with Lola, a five-year-old black-and-white yorkie-chihuahua rescue. Alexa's journey to becoming Lola's owner is as heartwarming as it is unexpected. Originally fostered by her neighbor, Lola was meant to be adopted by another couple, but when they ghosted, fate intervened.

Alexa and her husband, just two weeks away from their wedding, had not planned to adopt a dog at such a busy time. But Lola had other plans—she kept running over to their house, making her intentions clear. It was on a return from a beach getaway that Lola heard their car and sprinted to their home, running back and forth between houses in excitement. That day, Alexa and her husband officially became Lola’s parents. This serendipitous rescue has brought endless joy to their home, with Lola proving to be the perfect fit, a little dog who "adopted" them.

Alexa’s decision to pursue real estate was fueled by her desire for independence and entrepreneurship. Real estate offers the unique opportunity to be your own boss, build something from the ground up, and achieve success through a combination of hard work, creativity, and perseverance. "No two days are the same in real estate," she says, which is part of what keeps her engaged. Her start in the field was with Coldwell Banker, but she soon moved on to Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty (PPSIR), a brand renowned for its global reach and reputation for luxury. When it comes to unwinding, Alexa Buffalino DiVite is a self-confessed night owl. Her natural tendency to stay up late often requires some intervention to maintain a healthy routine. To help her wind down and transition into sleep, Alexa enjoys tuning into a good podcast or TV show for about 30 minutes. But her nightly rituals do not stop there. She has a fondness for popcorn, a snack she indulges in almost every night, turning it into a cozy routine.

Additionally, Alexa finds solace in books, reading a few pages each night based on her mood. Recently, she has also embraced sound meditation, using resonant music to find calm amid the uncertainties of the real estate industry. This practice allows her to be still, let go, and refocus her energy for the challenges ahead. These moments of mindfulness, combined with her love for entertainment and reading, help balance the pressures of her career.

Alexa's journey into real estate is deeply influenced by her early years of competitive cheerleading and dance, activities she began at just two years old. While her cheerleading career may have ended, the competitive spirit it nurtured continues to drive her today. That same energy is now channeled into impromptu dance parties, whether with others or solo in her kitchen. It’s a joyful expression that mirrors her ambitious approach to life.

This determination extends to her fitness routine, as she starts her mornings at the gym with classes ranging from Barre and Pilates to HIIT and boxing. After her workouts, you can often find her unwinding in the sauna—a testament to her belief in both hard work and the need for relaxation.

Outside of her busy career, Alexa also finds time to give back to the community. Every year, she participates in "The Tailgate with a Cause," a large-scale charity event held during a Giants game. The event raises thousands of dollars for worthy causes, including The American Cancer Society and The NephCure Foundation. For Alexa, giving back is a way to stay connected and contribute to positive change, something that brings fulfillment beyond her professional achievements.
