Maryanne is a first generation American, her father was a developer, and she was raised to LOVE this country for the opportunities it provides and the freedoms we have to take advantage of .
Her first real estate position was down the shore at LBI Realty in Beach Haven NJ. She is now at COMPASS in Ridgewood, where she says it is a “dream every day I think about pinching myself. I describe it as a castle surrounded by a mote. The rest of the brokerages are on the other side and the draw bridge only comes down for agents who meet the criteria of being there. COMPASS views the agents as their clients just as we view our clients.” COMPASS magically provides whatever they need to do their job better and faster. Every day she is surrounded by smart agents who make her better.
Her  Home Navigators Team is made up of real estate advisors , Mat Chapman, Rhonda Battifarano, Michele Kowal, Michael Donohue, Kathleen Duffy, Kirsten Aires, Jenna DeMarco-Vergano, and the person who keeps them compliant, Debra Vierno their team transaction coordinator and para legal.
The Home Navigators Team is a dynamic and versatile group, seamlessly blending individual strengths in negotiation, sales, marketing, and sports to deliver a powerful team approach in meeting the diverse needs of our clients. Headquartered in Bergen County, also serving Passaic and Morris counties, they proudly stand as one of the premier real estate teams in the state of New Jersey. Their commitment to building lasting relationships extends across the spectrum of real estate, with a particular emphasis on the luxury market. However, their  versatility shines through as they passionately assist first-time homebuyers and renters in finding their ideal homes. Leveraging their unique expertise in sports and entertainment, they also specialize in representing athletes and celebrities, providing tailored solutions for their distinct real estate requirements nationwide.
Their fundamental philosophy is to treat their clients as if they were their family. They chose to make their clients #1, not the other way around, as most agents do. They are continually collaborating on the best strategies in real time to get to the client’s destination. They are extremely transparent and understand the importance of delivering hard news, when needed. They  understand the intricate details of complex contracts, but more importantly understand people and walk them through a very emotional time in their life. Their clients become lifelong friends. It may sound cliché, but they are really honest, which, in the end, builds trust. Their clients trust The Home Navigators so much that even when they move to another state they ask them to be involved. With strategic partners throughout the country... they move people from state to state all of the time. However, their feet on the ground territory is Bergen, Passaic and the back end of Morris County.
Maryanne says the best part about being a realtor is the friendships she makes. Relationships, our sphere is so big that even when we have a personal issue, we know someone who can guide us...COMMUNITY. Her motto is “Always behave in a way that you can sleep in peace.”
In terms of advice to offer to realtors who are just starting out. “Trust.... I don't prospect for business it comes to us. What people say is "You are really smart" and  "You're the real deal" and  "You always do the right thing even if it affects you negatively". It's kind of a simple strategy.
