A Cincinnati native, Otis Wellborn is proud to be a product of Cincinnati public schools. At his core, he is a serial entrepreneur at heart and is very ambitious. Throughout his career in various fields, he has had a solid customer service background. 

 

Prior to entering real estate six years ago, Otis served our community in law enforcement for 11 years. He worked as a correctional officer for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and a police officer at the Cincinnati Police Department and the Monroe Police Department. 

 

"I have a heart to serve and communicate with others," says Otis. "It's my God-given gift."

 

After being hurt on the job several times as a police officer, Otis decided to finish his education. He earned a bachelor's in Business Management from Cincinnati Christian University while being on desk duty for 22 months. 

 

"A family member encouraged me to get into real estate," says Otis. "They thought I would be really good at it, and it turns out, they were right. It was all in God's timing."

 

Otis is honored to be a REALTOR® at Real Brokerage Technologies, a cloud-based brokerage. Currently, Otis oversees 47 agents across the country due to his brokerage being cloud-based. He has agents in Cincinnati, Tampa, Denver, Detroit, Austin (Texas), and Sierra Vista (Arizona). In addition, Otis is also actively selling real estate full time. 

 

"I have a passion to serve all communities, continuously grow as an agent, teach and pour into newer agents and/or agents who desire to excel on a higher level," says Otis.

 

The road hasn't always been easy, but Otis learned to overcome obstacles to become the professional he is today. 

 

"One of the challenges that I learned to overcome at an early stage of my real estate career was totally blocking out doubt from myself and people surrounding me," he shares, "I believe in myself and my brand more than anyone ever will."

 

Otis overcame the odds by delivering results. He explains, "I had to show people my work ethic by achieving my personal goals and by surpassing all of the milestones that people thought that I was not capable of achieving."

Otis takes pride in helping clients, going above and beyond to help his clients get to the finish line. He gets his clients to the closing table and makes transactions go smoothly from start to finish. 

 

As Otis says, "It's the Wellborn experience!" He has personalized his experience for his clients and built his brand in the process. 

 

When Otis isn't selling real estate and overseeing agents, he savors time with his family. He comments, "I'm a single dad of two beautiful children. Anthony (AJ), my son, is 7, and Isla, my daughter, is 10."

 

To relax and unwind, Otis enjoys eating at nice restaurants, attending comedy shows, concerts, and watching movies. Recently, he promoted a major R&B concert in Downtown Cincinnati that occurred in April.
