NEO Home Loans

Brian Pintar

Brian Pintar is in the business of financial education. As a mortgage lender with NEO Home Loans, he does not look at giving a loan as a transaction. Rather, he looks at real estate as the number one way to create wealth. “I like to go into extreme detail when we discuss return on investment including sharing that putting less money down always makes more sense and going over the long-term benefits of owning real estate.”

There are two main factors that separate Brian from others. The first is he personally takes all of his loan applications. “Even though I have a team, I am the face and the contact on every single loan.”  The second is since he’s been in the industry for 25 years, Brian has created an extremely detailed loan process that includes constant and consistent communication for his clients and the real estate partners that are involved in the transaction.

Brian shares that many real estate agents choose to partner with him because “I am always working on bettering myself, bettering my service levels, bettering technology, and my number one goal is to create an incredible experience.” The number one service he provides agents is that he helps get buyers “off the fence.” He walks clients through a detailed appointment, explaining the importance of wealth creation through real estate, and has a conversion ratio almost double the national average. “We close 69% of all purchase leads that are referred.” The second most valuable service Brian provides to agents is his extremely detailed post-closing program. “This allows us to not only retain previous clients, but get referrals from those previous clients. As of March 31, I have already referred just over $5.5 million in volume to my real estate partners.”

Brian understands that every agent relationship is different and always sits down to learn information that will help them work together, including how his partners like to communicate and what are their client priorities. “Every relationship is different and understanding the priorities of each partner allows us to create a superior experience for our clients.” This is evidenced in the many testimonials he has received from agents, including Jessica Northrop, Founding Agent of Compass Denver. Jessica states: “Brian is meticulous in educating clients on the importance of home ownership.  His lead-to-close conversion ratio helps me have more success.  Everything he does is thought out in detail with the best for the client in mind.  Closings always happened on time and the process is always wonderful for us and the clients.”

Brian prides himself on leading by example through honesty and doing the work so he can be an asset to others. “I find being very honest with myself about who I am, my struggles and my shortcomings, and then sharing those with others is what makes me and my business model unique. For example, 2023 was by far the most difficult year of my life. My business dropped 80% from just over a year prior. I had never been in a situation where I did not know how to get out of it, and this created massive fear. Fear will make us do things that we normally would not do, it can make you or break you.”

Brian openly reveals this fear broke him for a while and he became someone he barely recognized. “I share this because what I have found in talking to a lot of loan officers and real estate agents over the past year is I was not alone. I believe social media allows us to create an image that all is good, but the reality is, we must face our issues. I had to face depression and fear and figure out how to get out of it.”

While Brian is still working on himself after an extraordinarily tough year, he has made some massive changes in his personal life and business that have gotten him to a point where he can see the light at the end of the tunnel. He did 75 Hard which was created by Andy Frisella. 75 Hard is not a fitness challenge, but a mental challenge. Brian completed it 100%, never missing a challenge on all 75 days. The next thing he did was to reach out to friends who are successful as “we are whom we surround ourselves with.” He then created a blog called ‘Being Authentic’ with the sole purpose of sharing his journey from being extremely successful to being at the lowest point of his life and his journey of coming back.

He shares his commitment to sticking to a morning routine, writing in a gratitude journal, working out and scheduling his day in detail. He even creates a call list of a minimum of 23 people that he is going to call every day and has stuck to his greatness tracker. “I am the guy that meditates and expresses gratitude and sticks to a routine, and in doing this, I have created the number on the most important thing that I could ever possibly do… I have learned to love myself again.”

Brian shares: “Although there are peaks and valleys still, I have seen growth in myself personally.
My purpose and my mission is to be an example for others to follow. It all starts with self-love, as when we love ourselves, we are giving from a full bucket and the energy we give is contagious.”
