Holly Vejrostek
Building Connections, Changing Lives

When Holly Vejrostek stepped into real estate in November 2017, she wasn’t entirely sure what she was looking for—she only knew she wanted something more. Before finding her true calling, she was a stay-at-home mom and an entrepreneur, trying her hand at different ventures. She built a successful social media marketing business for companies and Realtors nationwide, but something was missing. “I needed more personal interaction and face-to-face connections,” she recalls. Then, a friend casually suggested real estate, and without fully knowing what she was getting into, she jumped in.
Born and raised in Longmont, Holly met her husband, Jared, in high school. Their lives changed forever after 9/11, when Jared enlisted in the Marine Corps, leading them to North Carolina for four years of military life. The experience shaped them both, instilling resilience and a deep appreciation for life’s fleeting moments. “We matured fast and learned how precious time is,” she says. Now, after 23 years of marriage, they’ve built a life centered around family, faith, and adventure. Their daughters, Kierstyn and Kyla, share a passion for volleyball, with Kierstyn coaching and Kyla playing competitively. As a family, they cherish their time together, whether traveling or simply making the most of everyday moments.
For Holly, real estate is more than a career—it’s a way to build relationships. “I've formed some of my closest friendships through this business, and I’ve even deepened old ones,” she says. Over the years, she’s helped first-time buyers, growing families, and those looking for their dream home, but one area of her work is particularly meaningful—helping veterans find a place to call home.
“My husband is a veteran, my father is a veteran, and so many people I love have served,” she explains. “Helping veterans find a home where they feel safe and valued is my way of giving back.” Her passion for working with military families stems from firsthand experience. She understands the challenges of frequent relocations and the need for stability. “It’s about more than just finding a house—it’s about helping them feel grounded and at peace.”
Another deeply personal aspect of her work is assisting families with estate sales. Losing a loved one is difficult, and Holly approaches these sales with empathy and care. “I always say my goal is ‘smiles at the closing table’—even in tough situations, finding a moment of relief matters,” she shares. She strives to make the process as smooth as possible, allowing families to focus on healing while she handles the complexities of the sale.
Holly’s commitment to making a difference extends beyond real estate. She actively supports causes like the High Plains Honor Flight, which honors veterans by providing them with trips to visit war memorials, and the Veterans Community Project, which builds tiny homes for homeless veterans. She’s also involved in initiatives supporting children in her community, ensuring that young people have the opportunities and resources they need to thrive.
Looking ahead, Holly hopes to expand her impact through public speaking. “I want to be remembered for my heart and for being a positive force in the world,” she says. She believes that sharing her experiences and insights can inspire others to find purpose and fulfillment in their own journeys. “Real estate has given me a platform to make a difference, and I want to use it to create lasting change.”
In her eight years as a Realtor, Holly has surpassed $120 million in total volume and earned accolades such as Rookie of the Year, multiple Diamond Awards, and the prestigious Icon award. Yet, for her, success isn’t defined by numbers. “Success is a balance of family, business, and faith. Without balance, there is no success,” she emphasizes. Staying true to her values has been the foundation of her achievements, and she encourages others to do the same.
For new agents, her advice is simple: “Find what works for you and stay consistent. Don’t chase every shiny object. Learn from those who inspire you, and if they’re not willing to teach, they’re not your people. Be coachable, but don’t lose yourself. Trust the process, and don’t be afraid to be vulnerable—people appreciate the real you.”
Reflecting on her journey, Holly never imagined real estate would change her life so profoundly. “I love waking up every day knowing I get to do this,” she says. “This career and the people I help truly hold my heart.” Every transaction, every client, and every connection reinforces her belief that she’s exactly where she’s meant to be.
