Jen Routon

Remax Alliance

In the bustling world of real estate, one name shines as the go-to person for all things home-related: Jen Routon. As the 2024 President of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors and Regional Managing Broker at Remax Alliance, she's not just a seasoned pro in the real estate scene but also your down-to-earth guide to finding your dream home.

Jen's journey into the real estate game started from humble beginnings. Growing up in rental homes and apartments with her single mom, she never thought owning a home was in the cards for her. That all changed when, pregnant with their daughter, her husband suggested they look into buying a house. At 23, she became a homeowner and felt like she had hit the jackpot. That life-changing experience lit a fire in her to help others achieve the same.

Back in 1996, Jen was in her early twenties, leasing apartments and loving every minute of it. Climbing the ranks, she became a regional manager, handling multiple communities and even traveling to help with sales pitches. It was during these adventures that she started thinking about becoming a REALTOR.

Fast forward to 2007 when Jen got her real estate license while managing multi-family regions. In 2012, she took a leap of faith, ditching her corporate gig to be a full-time REALTOR. But let's be real – it wasn't as easy as she thought. Like many new agents, she had to prove herself. It took hard work, determination, and a relentless pursuit of opportunities to find her footing in the real estate world.

Now, with over twelve years in the game, Jen is a seasoned expert. She's a graduate of the Colorado Association of REALTORS Leadership Academy and heavily involved with both the state and local real estate associations. Real estate is her dream job, and she loves every bit of it – even the tough days. Getting involved in leadership at Remax Alliance and DMAR has brought her lifelong friends, people she can celebrate with, commiserate with, and ask for advice.

Jen's not just about business; she's also about family. Married for 26 years to her high school sweetheart, Will, they call themselves "The Core Four" with their two kids, Hannah and William. Laughter and silliness are the glue that holds them together. As the kids start their own journeys, Jen realizes the importance of staying connected, breaking bread, and catching up.
But it's not all about the job or family for Jen. She's deeply connected to her community, supporting causes like Pancreatic Cancer and Alzheimer's Research, and advocating for Suicide Awareness, especially in youth. Her passion for helping people achieve home ownership is contagious, and she gets goosebumps every time. Every step of the process is emotional, and it all pays off at the closing table.

Jen loves to do more than just find homes; she's all about helping clients build wealth through real estate. It's not just about the right property; it's about the right investment. And here's a little secret – she practices what she preaches. Jen owns her own short and long-term properties, making her not just a REALTOR but a savvy investor herself.

Being the friendly face guiding her clients through life's chapters – marriage, kids, empty nesting, retirement – is a privilege for Jen. She's not just a REALTOR; she's your neighbor, your confidante, and the one who helps you turn a house into a home. Jen Routon: making real estate dreams come true, one home at a time.
