Kris Ceretto

A Personal Approach to Real Estate

In the competitive world of Denver real estate, Kris Ceretto has carved out an impressive niche with his unwavering dedication to client satisfaction, extensive industry knowledge, and a genuine passion for helping people. With 17 years in the field and a career volume of over $821 million, Kris leads The Ceretto Group at Coldwell Banker, where his team continues to excel in connecting families with their dream homes.

Kris’ journey into real estate began in 2008, but the seeds were sown years earlier. While working as a sales associate at Tiffany & Co. in Cherry Creek, Kris honed his customer service skills and gained insights into the luxury market. “Customers would come in and spend tens of thousands of dollars on engagement rings, watches, and diamonds,” he recalls. “I loved helping clients choose the perfect gift and seeing how something as simple as the ‘Blue Box’ could light up someone’s world. That experience shaped my desire to have a similar impact on people’s lives.”

It was a chance conversation with his former Tiffany’s sales director that ultimately steered Kris into real estate. “He asked if I’d ever considered becoming a Realtor, and it just clicked,” Kris shares. Starting as a licensed assistant, Kris quickly gained exposure to influential networks and developments. After a stint in new home sales, where he expanded his expertise in architecture and construction, Kris found his true calling: helping clients navigate the complex and deeply personal journey of buying or selling a home.

Fast forward to 2024, Kris has successfully transitioned his business to Coldwell Banker, launching The Ceretto Group. Known for its innovative approach, the team specializes in partnering with builders and simplifying the often daunting process of selling resale homes to fund new construction purchases. “Helping clients through the new build process is incredibly rewarding,” Kris says. “It’s never the same, and there are always challenges. But being their advocate and seeing the joy on their faces when they receive the keys is the best feeling in the world.”

This client-centric approach has fueled The Ceretto Group’s success, with 99% of their business coming from referrals. In 2023, they closed 372 units, totaling over $239 million in volume, and have consistently ranked among the top three teams with the Denver Metro Association of Realtors. “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care,” Kris emphasizes. “Building trust and prioritizing clients’ needs is what truly sets us apart.”
A Colorado native from Aurora, Kris attributes much of his work ethic to his parents. “My dad was in aviation and a DJ, and my mom was a hairdresser,” he recalls. “They worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed, and their example kept me focused growing up in a challenging community.” This foundation of resilience and dedication has been a cornerstone of Kris’ career and personal life.

The Ceretto Group also includes Brooke Walls, Director of Operations, and two highly skilled agents, Kate O’Brien and Laurel Wells, each bringing unique strengths and valuable experience to the team. Brooke ensures that the business operates seamlessly, empowering the group to thrive with her innovative mindset and dedication. Kate, a 25-year resident of Boulder County, pairs her deep knowledge of the area with a passion for guiding clients through the complexities of real estate. Laurel, a Boulder native with over 25 years of experience across various real estate roles, provides clients with unparalleled expertise and a personal connection to Colorado’s vibrant communities. Together, they uphold a shared vision of excellence and top-tier service.

Fatherhood has been a defining path for Kris. He and his wife Morgan, whom he met while both worked for a home builder, have two daughters, Luca (5) and Wren (2). “Becoming a parent has taught me patience, resilience, and adaptability,” he says. “I want to instill in my daughters the importance of independence and self-belief. I strive to be their hero.”

Family also plays a significant role in the Ceretto household. Annual beach trips, family dinners, and spending time with grandparents who live nearby are cherished traditions. “We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a strong support system,” Kris adds.

Outside of work, Kris has a passion for golf and an appreciation for fine wine. He and Morgan are also deeply involved in charity work, serving on the committee for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Denver Evening of Hope and the Denver Dream Home Giveaway. “We love this charity and will continue to support it in any way possible,” Kris says.

Despite his success, Kris remains humble and focused on growth. “Real estate challenges you in all aspects of life,” he notes. “It’s about more than just closing deals; it’s about personal development and making a positive impact.” He advises up-and-coming Realtors to “pour into your sphere of influence and love on your database. Relationships are everything in this business.”

When asked about his vision for the future, Kris’ answer is simple yet profound: “I want to build a lasting legacy for my family and help as many families as I can find their perfect homes. It’s about creating meaningful connections and making a difference.”

With his expertise, passion, and people-first approach, Kris Ceretto is not just a top Realtor® but a trusted advisor and advocate for his clients. As he continues to grow The Ceretto Group, Kris remains committed to his core values of integrity, empathy, and excellence—qualities that ensure his legacy in Denver’s real estate community.
