The Yeddis Group
A Family Legacy of Building Community
For the Yeddis Group, real estate is a family affair that goes beyond transactions. Led by Fran Yeddis, alongside her son Josh and daughter-in-law Whitney, the team is committed to creating lasting relationships and fostering a sense of community. Their approach is deeply rooted in family values, passion for helping others, and a dedication to giving back.
For Fran Yeddis, the matriarch of The Yeddis Group, real estate is more than a career—it’s a lifelong passion that ties together her love for teaching, family, and community. With over 35 years in the industry, Fran has seen the market evolve, and she’s adapted with it, always keeping her focus on building lasting relationships.
Fran’s journey into real estate began in 1978 when she first got her license and started selling lots for custom homes on weekends. However, it wasn’t until 1989, after raising her three children, that she dove into residential sales full-time. Her background as an elementary school teacher provided a strong foundation for her real estate career.
“Teaching gave me the skills to listen, communicate, and pay attention to detail,” Fran explains. “I love giving buyers and sellers the education that helps them make informed decisions, and it’s rewarding to see these relationships grow beyond just business. Many of my closest friends started out as clients.”
Fran’s involvement in nonprofits like Junior League of Denver and Home and Hope underscores her dedication to community service. She organizes an annual toy drive for foster children, which has become a staple in the community, with neighbors and clients contributing generously to the cause. “Giving back is a big part of who we are,” Fran notes.
In Fran’s spare time, she loves spending time with her 4 grandchildren, and now that they are all in school, you might even find her on the tennis court or golf course.
Raised in the family business, Josh Yeddis was deeply instilled with the values of giving back and helping others from a young age. Driven by a passion for community and connection, Josh has spent nearly two decades in real estate, working alongside his mother to help clients find not just houses, but homes where they can build their lives.
Josh’s journey into real estate began in 2004 when he started as a commercial broker before transitioning to residential sales with The Yeddis Group. “I never thought I’d end up in the ‘family biz,’” Josh jokes, “but I love architecture and helping people, so it turned out to be a perfect fit.” His background in marketing and advertising gave him a unique perspective on the industry and helped him build a strong foundation for his career.
Josh’s approach to real estate is deeply influenced by his parents’ values: love, empathy, hard work, and philanthropy. “Real estate allows me to connect with people and support my philanthropic passions,” he says. As a co-founder of the non-profit, The Fulda Foundation, Josh continues to work with at-risk youth within Israel, providing scholarships for a life-changing trajectory program. Josh is also actively involved in local philanthropic endeavors including Jewish Colorado, where Josh sits on and helps run several boards, including co-chairing the annual Israel Walk in Colorado. “It’s about creating opportunities and empowering young people to make a difference,” he says
For Josh, the relationships formed with clients are the most rewarding aspect of his work. His dedication to providing top-notch service is why The Yeddis Group maintains a strong reputation even in challenging market conditions.
Outside of work, Josh is an avid sports fan and music lover, and he cherishes his role as “funcle” to his nieces and nephews. “Family is everything to me,” he says, “and we work our business like we do our family, with compassion, caring and hard work.”
Whitney Yeddis, the newest member of The Yeddis Group, brings fresh energy and a unique perspective to the team. Twenty years ago, she made a bold move to Colorado, a decision that unknowingly set the stage for her future in real estate. Her career began in corporate HR, where she excelled at supporting others and driving organizational success. However, during the pandemic, she felt a strong pull toward making a more personal and direct impact on people’s lives. Real estate became the perfect avenue to fulfill that calling.
Inspired by her in-laws’ dedication to helping families find their perfect homes, Whitney transitioned into real estate. “Watching Fran and Josh guide families through one of the most significant decisions of their lives was incredibly inspiring. I wanted to be part of that- helping people find not just a house, but a place they can truly call home,” she explains.
Whitney is now focused on expanding the teams’ presence in Grand County, particularly in towns such as Winter Park, Fraser, Granby, and Grand Lake – areas celebrated for their year-round destination activities.
As a local agent in Grand County, Whitney brings a distinct advantage to her clients by offering personalized service and deep community insight that only a true local can provide. Whitney’s local knowledge allows her to expertly navigate the area’s diverse market, offering valuable insights into each town’s unique character—from Winter Park’s vibrant ski scene to Granby’s tranquil lifestyle.
For Whitney, real estate is about building relationships and making a difference. As a mom of two, she values the flexibility that real estate provides, allowing her to balance professional success with family life while capturing cherished family memories as the family’s “Mamarazzi.”
At the heart of The Yeddis Group is a shared commitment to community and connection. Simply put, The Yeddis Group’s philosophy is that we treat everyone like they are family, and in the process, we work hard to deliver results and create true and lasting relationships. Real Estate may be the family business, but The Yeddis Group is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world and helping everyone feel at home.
As Josh sums up, “We love to love. We love to create that sense of community with not only the people around us, our friends and family, but with our clients and the neighborhoods we live and serve.”
