From her decision to leave a job she was no longer interested in to entering an industry she had no background or connection to—other than a desire to provide a better life for her two kids—Yesi has displayed a keen ability to navigate complex situations with great care and determination to succeed despite all odds.

 

Before stepping into the world of real estate in late 2018, Yesi was immersed in the construction industry, handling over 200 subcontractors, managing payroll, and ensuring insurance compliance for a local construction company.

 

It was during this time, amid personal changes and the challenges of being a single mom, that Yesi found the clarity she needed to pivot her career path. Real estate became the clear choice, offering not only the potential for uncapped earnings but also the flexibility required to be present for her two daughters, Penelopi and Frida.

 

“My biggest motivating factor in general is always my two amazing daughters,” Yesi shares. “I knew I wanted to be able to provide them a life full of opportunities that I perhaps didn't get to experience.”

 

Yesi grew up in what is now known as Sunnyside Highlands in Denver. As a first-generation daughter of Mexican immigrants, Yesi was raised with a solid foundation of traditional values and a family-oriented ethos. Inspired by her parents' journey and their pursuit of the American dream, Yesi embraced the lessons of hard work and determination from a young age.

 

“Both of my parents have always been very inspirational to me,” Yesi explains. “I’m fortunate to have visited both of the towns they grew up in and it has always humbled me to know how far they came and to witness the hard work it took.”

 

Becoming a mom at nineteen, Yesi's life choices have always been defined by her desire to provide a better future for her daughters. “Being a young mom taught me so much and continues to teach, challenge, and inspire me,” Yesi shares.

 

This commitment is reflected in Yesi's success in real estate over the past five years. Her approach to real estate is deeply personal. She loves using her bilingual skills and sales acumen to empower her clients and community. Her ability to turn clients into friends speaks volumes about her dedication and the personal investment she makes in each relationship.

 

Yet, it hasn’t been easy for Yesi. Starting in real estate without a background in the industry presented significant challenges. She had to carve out her own niche and establish herself in a competitive market. “I’m a self-proclaimed forever learner and for that reason, this industry aligns perfectly with my personality. It’s an industry that is constantly changing in many aspects and while I do think that makes some people nervous, I actually really enjoy it. It keeps me on my toes,” Yesi emphasizes.

 

For Yesi, success is about living on her own terms, prioritizing what's most important—her family. A proud soccer mom, Yesi spends much of her free time shuffling Penelopi to practice, games, and tournaments, with Frida by her side like a trusty sidekick.

 

Off the soccer field, you can usually find Yesi exploring Denver's food and coffee scene (@yesiandthecity), diving into creative pursuits like painting and art history, or hanging out at her mother’s house, which has become a welcomed hub for the whole family.
