Cristine Rosa Lefkowitz
Purpose-Driven
Cristine Rosa Lefkowitz comes from a family of high achievers, and yet, she’s carved out her own path in life. She’s determined to follow her passion and build her dreams.
“I couldn't wait for the ink of my diploma to dry, to start my entrepreneurial life,” Cristine reflects. From the moment in 1992 that she began her interior design business in Brazil, Cristine had big plans. After visiting the United States as a child, she developed a passion for the American way of life and was hooked on the idea of living there eventually. She made that dream a reality by moving to Las Vegas at age 26.
While re-launching her business as an interior designer in Nevada, Cristine ran a printing company. All the while seeking ways to fulfill her passion for design, luxury interiors, and real estate. “I came here to win, and I do not gamble,” Cristine says. “Las Vegas is a great place to buy, and sell [real estate]. There is major growth here.”
During her time designing interiors she interfaced with countless REALTORS®. Her friends and connections often sought her assistance with staging their homes in preparation for placing them up for sale. This led Cristine to make a shift in her business model. In 2002 she recognized an opportunity to provide clients with a luxury experience that went above and beyond the service most homeowners had received.
Twenty plus years later, Cristine continues to thrive as REALTOR® By applying a single-minded focus to her work, she’s become a luxury specialist with a niche in high rises, unique estates, and prominent land parcels. She is also the number one agent, year after year, for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties.
Although she officially hasn’t operated her interior design business since 2003, Cristine continues to utilize her design skills to the benefit of her clients. She designs and stages her listings, thus her properties sell faster, yielding greater value.
Cristine takes pride in honesty, dedication, and the ability to close deals. Her international reach and multilingual background help her service clients from all over the world. She boasts, “I am a proud American citizen and a Nevada ambassador. I promote Las Vegas and Henderson, both nationally and internationally."
With the population of the metro area nearly tripling since her arrival in 1996, Cristine has been privy to see firsthand the tremendous amount of growth Las Vegas has undergone. The benefits of living here are significant — no state income tax, warm weather, great shopping, incredible restaurants, exceptional sports arenas, an international airport, and ample business opportunities. “Las Vegas has numerous amazing qualities. It's a special town to be in. The middle class can afford it, and the upper class loves the luxury lifestyle,” Cristine adds.
Outside of work, Cristine enjoys exercising (particularly Pilates and swimming in the open ocean), traveling, and dedicating her free time to her family and friends, as well as multiple causes and charities. She works hard to remain focused on what’s important to her, forgoing music, movies, fiction, and TV for podcasts and carefully selected trustworthy news media. Cristine believes an active mind is a sharp mind, and much of her daily activity is centered toward staying on point.
Cristine’s relationship with God is also essential to her life, driving everything she does. “I'm not a saint,” she says frankly. “I am strict and a serious businesswoman, but I also believe you have to be soft and do good, even when no one is watching. I am Messianic Jewish, a God and Christ follower, and in this culture, especially now, very few people are thinking and talking about God. I would love to see more people consider reading the Bible, making an effort to be closer to God and letting Jesus in their lives.”
“When you die, you're going to take your soul and your integrity, and everything you learn on this journey. You’re not going to take your material possessions with you. You’re a spirit having an earthly experience. You come through, touch people's lives, and leave a place better than you found it.”
