Lindsey Kreier is not your run-of-the-mill home warranty specialist. Sure, she can set you up with the safety of a comprehensive warranty. She can prepare you financially for a surprise furnace replacement. And she can rekey your new home. But on the weekend, when the leaves are turning and the pregame pundits are preparing you for the upcoming gridiron clash, Lindsey is your absolute go-to for sussing out the best and tastiest cut to toss gently onto your charcoal grill.
She grew up on a farm in Portage, WI, which led to her degree in animal science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She became captain of the school’s Meat Evaluation Team. I know, it sounds made up, but it’s a real thing. “We traveled the country judging animals on the hoof as well as cuts of meat,” she clarifies.
“As you can probably tell,” she adds, “ I had no idea I would end up anywhere near the real estate industry. I thought I would end up working in the beef industry, in genetics or in nutrition.”
And she did, for a while. Her Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in business earned her a job in the dairy genetics industry, where she worked for seven years. But all aspects of the dairy industry can be either feast or famine. “I came to a point where I felt that maybe it was time to pursue a career path in a less volatile industry.”
She realized that, although she loved animals, her real joy came in working with people. “So I sought out a role in a growth industry helping people and have been very happy with the choice I made when I moved to Frontdoor.”

“We usually see people on their bad days,” she says. “We all have bad days. So it is incredibly rewarding to be able to help people when they are going through a rough time with something.”
