Tommy Davidson, also known as “Good Time Tommy”, is an incredible motivational coach and leader to his team. Formerly settling for a life of mediocrity, he now empowers others to find that “superhero” within. “Success is result,” says the REALTOR® who was compelled to turn everything around after an abrupt wake-up call in 2009.

Before real estate, Tommy was a financial advisor and attempted to gain John Jones–someone he had known for years and greatly admired–as a client. However, John persuaded him to join his real estate team, and in 2003, he officially became a licensed REALTOR®. He’s remained with this very brokerage, John Jones Real Estate, for two decades now.

“I really want to help people,” Tommy remarks about his genuine heart to serve others and guide them through the tough times that he’s experienced himself. In 2009, he had to move back home with his mom at the age of 35, and although he had a rental property, it had very little value at the time. Until this moment, he had lacked “successful habits” to thrive in the business. His friend Tim Dutton evoked him to have a sense of urgency that would spark that change Tommy deeply desired.

Tommy hired coach Michael Burt to walk him through the first steps toward success. Though he has a degree in psychology, he didn’t truly grasp personal development until this experience. Devoted to achieving this transformation, he worked hard and progressed from a lax college student, subpar financial advisor, and Realtor to a successful, driven entrepreneur making an impact in the lives of others. With a direct coaching style resembling that of a football coach, Tommy is very upfront with his team and leads with authenticity.

Also known as “Good Time Tommy”, he has used this meaningful moniker to represent that everyone has a “version of a superhero” waiting to be discovered. “2009 Tommy was so broken,” he comments on how he didn’t have the confidence to continue and used this “alter ego” to revamp his life. Now he channels that drive for transformation through his show on Facebook also titled “Good Time Tommy”.

Feeling a sense of pride for how far he’s come, Tommy is grateful for the life he now has. He readily takes action yet pauses to make a sound, wise decision in order to gain the best result. Continually learning and growing, he is currently enrolled in two coaching programs Michael Burt and Grant Cardone.

Tommy is thankful for his family, a healthy marriage, good health, and that he’s made his mother proud, who raised him as a single mom after his father passed. He and his wife Brittany have been married for 4 years and have a son, Nic, and a Boxer, named Jax. They love taking trips to the beach, especially Seagrove Beach. He is a massive Notre Dame College Football fan and jokes about being an “aspiring mediocre golfer”.

Providing a transformational experience is crucial to Tommy, and he shows his appreciation for clients and support for local businesses by gifting them a gift card for his favorite local restaurant, The Alley on Main at closings. Although he comes across as very extroverted, he can become quite introverted when in a new environment. His dedication to his team is evident through their belief and support for him. “Gives me the gear to keep on trucking,” he adds.

Tommy’s transformation continues to serve as an inspiration. His direct nature and coaching style have encouraged others to evolve in their real estate journey as well. As someone who once decided to stop settling for a mediocre life, his passion for helping others reach their true potential is undeniable and unyielding.
