One of the challenges Laura has had to overcome is building a sustainable and successful business. She worked hard and put in the effort; and now, with a family to support, she is grateful for the foundation she has built for herself and her loved ones.

Laura's bucket list includes traveling to Europe with her children and being able to retire young and healthy. She also wants to see her children grow up to be happy and capable adults.

Building relationships with clients is Laura's favorite part of being a real estate agent. She has made many friends out of her clients and is grateful for each one. Consistency has been the biggest game-changer for Laura's business.

Laura's goals for the next year include taking more time to travel and spend with her family. She’s also trying to be more specific geographically with her sales, which will help her achieve her first goal. Laura supports various organizations and charities, including the Vienna Little League, BRAWS, Vienna Jammers, and many school 5Ks.

BRETT SELESTAY
Property Collective
Age: 35 | Years in RE: 6 | 2022 Sales: $15,200,000

Brett Selestay has always been a people person, with an innate ability to connect with others. It was this desire to help that drove him to become a real estate agent. He loves the flexibility and lifestyle that comes with the job and relishes the opportunity to be in complete control of his business, income and time.

Before he became an agent, Brett worked as a bartender. It was during this time that he honed his social skills and developed his network, which would become one of his greatest assets in his new career. He was born and raised in Herndon and also has a huge local network both professionally and personally, which he notes sets him apart from other agents.

Brett faced one of his biggest challenges when he became a new father while working two jobs, putting in over 50 hours a week, and being a full-time student at George Mason University. Juggling all of this was incredibly difficult, but he persevered and learned never to quit and to trust in himself.

Brett hopes to retire at age 50 and see as much of the world as possible. But his biggest dream is to raise children that positively contribute to the world and make it a better place.

The biggest game changer for Brett's business was doubling down on his social media. He is constantly learning and staying educated to ensure he is providing his clients with the best service possible.

Looking ahead, Brett has ambitious goals for the rest of the year and into next year. He hopes to sell over $20 million in sales volume, buy a beach house, and spend more quality time with his wife and kids than he did last year.
