“When we opened, our main goal was to create a space where homeowners, builders, designers, and DIYers could come in and select what they needed for their project and get help coordinating all the pieces together,” Michaela explains. “This is a collaborative space. “Through the process of working with people who want to spruce up a space to get more sellers interested, we can suggest smaller things that aren’t necessarily a full remodel,” Michaela says. “We can do various levels of updates, including taking out wall cabinets to add open shelving, switching out cabinetry hardware, as well refreshing countertops or removing an over-the-range microwave to replace with a hood. These are great things that can make a big impact without a ton or work or time.”

Life for Michaela is made much richer by her family, including her husband, Patrick, and their three children, who are aged 2 to 8 years old.

 

In her free time, Michaela and her family look forward to time spent at the lake, as well as hiking and many outdoor activities.
