Upbringing:
Growing up as a missionary kid in Mexico City, Tyler's upbringing was anything but typical. "I didn't really have a 'home' as a kid, so the idea of home: having stability, having a family, having the support of your parents, is really important and means a lot to me," he shares. This unique childhood made him fluent in Spanish and exposed him to a diverse set of cultures and experiences.

His father, a vocational minister, instilled in him the value of real estate investments by buying houses wherever they moved and keeping them as rental properties. Tyler reflects, "Watching my dad, I grew up believing in the idea of being an investor. When I got my first check as a rental property owner, I was hooked!"

Before his foray into real estate, Tyler dabbled in various industries, including service, landscaping, software implementation, and consultative sales. The turning point, however, came with the birth of his daughter in 2019. Driven by a desire to create a life of financial freedom and be an ever-present father, Gibson took the leap into real estate. "I wanted to build a life of financial and time freedom so that I could be the kind of father that never misses an event"

From a Newbie to an Achiever
Leading the GPG Team at EXP Realty, Tyler has seen tremendous success. His hard work paid off when he made the 2021 Top 500 Orlando Real Producers and the 2021 ORRA YPN Top 20 under 40.

Tyler's favorite part of being a real estate agent is helping people build wealth. “I love being an advisor and guiding people through the largest financial transaction of their lives.” His strategy differed from conventional methods; he used the world’s largest real estate investing forum to establish himself as an Orlando real estate resource, which set him apart from other agents.

For Gibson, success isn’t just about recognition. He defines success as being able to control his calendar and pursue his passion. He says, "I knew for the last 15 years I didn’t want a boss but struggled to find something that I would be excited to get up and do on a Monday morning. Now, I get to do what I love."

In just one year, Tyler achieved a stunning sales volume of $9.8 million. One might wonder what his secret sauce is? “Using leverage!” Tyler reveals. Balancing a full-time job and growing real estate demands was a juggling act until he decided to delegate tasks and focus on what he was best at.

A Glimpse into the Future
Outside of his skyrocketing career, Tyler is a dedicated family man. His daughter is his driving force, and he is committed to spending quality time with her and his wife. He firmly believes that work/life balance is a myth, stating, “There is just life. I could do it all the time, but I am intentional about family time at home because it is important.

As for what lies ahead, Tyler has big plans. His immediate goal is to grow his team to 25 agents. He emphasizes the importance of continuously improving in every facet of his business, from onboarding to follow-ups.
