Meet Rising Star Shane Bangle

God will provide. Shane Bangle, founder and owner of the Manna Group, was reminded of this truth at a time in which he needed it most.

Prior to 2019, the world of real estate was fairly unknown to Shane. For several years, he had worked in event management, serving as the director of a 4,000 seat arena that hosted large sporting events, conferences, concerts, and much more. Following his time in event management, Shane became a patrol officer for a city police department. After three and a half years on the job, working both day and night shifts, he decided to step away from the career as he felt that the schedule and job was no longer conducive to family life.

Following his time in law enforcement, Shane and his family made the move to Spokane, where he became an assistant men’s soccer coach at Whitworth University prior to the start of 2019 season. It was a few months into his time as a soccer coach in which he was introduced to real estate, as he started working in the profession on a part-time basis. Shane developed a passion in real estate and eventually made the shift to become a full-time realtor, while still coaching part-time.

In late 2021, Shane had been working with a high-performing real estate team, and they started to entertain the idea of a deeper partnership. By early February 2022, it was decided that the partnership would not work, and that left Shane in a place of great uncertainty. He wondered if God might be closing the door on real estate, as well as his family’s time in Spokane. In the midst of the uncertainty, God revealed Himself to Shane through a particular verse in the Bible.

Nehemiah 9:15 is a verse in which the sons of Israel are remembering how God continuously provided for the Israelites and met their needs during the midst of their 40-year exodus, “You provided bread from heaven for them for their hunger, You brought forth water from a rock for them for their thirst, and You told them to enter in order to possess the land which You swore to give them.”

For Shane, that verse served as a reminder that though he may feel doubt, fear or despair, God would provide for him and his family exactly what they needed, when they needed it. Over the next few days, Bangle had several interactions and experiences that he knew were being orchestrated by God, revealing to Shane that he was to continue on in real estate, and that he and his family’s needs would be provided.

Just a few months later, Shane started the Manna Group, which is named after the miraculous food that was supplied to the Israelites during their 40 years in the wilderness (Exodus 16). Fast forward to 2023, the Manna Group has grown into a team of seven, including five full-time agents, that strive to provide the highest quality, speed, and personal service.

“As a team, there are two main outcomes that we are pursuing,” said Bangle, “The first is that we want to help people get on a path to home ownership and financial sustainability. The second is that we want to create communities in which people can do life together.”

With those two goals at the forefront, the Manna Group seeks to build trust and deep relationships with their clients. “My favorite part of being a realtor is that I am able to get to know people and their lives on deeper levels, as I am dealing with intimate details such as a family’s finances and dreams,” said Bangle, “It is also rewarding to help find the balance between the wants and desires of different members of the family, and finding or creating options that bring about the highest level of satisfaction.”

While the current economic environment can be discouraging for many, with the prospect of buying or selling a home seeming daunting or out of the question, Shane and the Manna Group are more motivated than ever. “Right now, we are deeply passionate about helping people both buy and sell homes in a tougher market,” said Bangle, “It is challenging, but more so, it is very rewarding to be able to lead a people through the process and accomplish what felt like an impossibility.”

God will provide. Because of Shane and the Manna Group’s belief in that truth, they have the confidence and courage to go out into their community and serve the families of Spokane, doing so in a way that brings glory to God. “I see real estate as another tool that God intends to use for His glory first and foremost,” said Bangle, “Because of that, I believe that we must go about our work in the most meaningful and honest way possible, as we are representing Him in our community on a daily basis.”
