With nearly 20 locations throughout Missouri and over half a dozen in Kansas, Meridian Title Company’s roots in the title industry run deep. “Originally founded by Randy Doennig in 2002, our company started with just six dedicated employees working out of a small office in Springfield, MO,” says Dee Wilson, Meridian Executive Director of Business Development. “In 2018, Jeremy and Emily Burcham acquired Meridian Title, and from that point forward, our journey has been nothing short of remarkable.” 

Armed with cutting-edge closing software and fueled by a team of brilliant minds committed to seamless collaboration, Meridian Title Company has grown rapidly since. “Today, we proudly operate over 24  physical locations and offer title search and closing services in all counties in Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas,” says Dee. 

Meridian Title is a full service residential and commercial title company that also offers construction disbursement services, in-house legal counsel, educational classes for industry professionals, and document preparation services for needs such as estate planning, deeds, and easements. They are also a Qualified 1031 Exchange Intermediary performing exchanges for anywhere in the US. 

Dee’s role with MTC is overseeing marketing and sales for the company. “The marketing team helps clients on a daily basis solve problems with files like finding covenants and restrictions and identifying who exactly is on the title. We also verify if there are any outstanding judgments on the property, but we could not do this without the help from our title department,” says Dee. “We also assist the processors and closers when there is a problem with a file. It really is a team effort,” Dee says. 

Additionally, Meridian works closely with real estate agents throughout the Ozarks and beyond. “We are involved daily with agents and lenders. We help them with files, provide direction if they are new agents, and help them connect with others within the industry,” shares Dee.
