Avery Grant

Alpha Realty

Perhaps nothing represents the American Dream quite like owning a piece of property. It’s tangible, it lasts and it serves as a powerful background where dreams are envisioned and pursued.

As a real estate agent and Broker with Alpha Realty, Avery Grant is fueled in his career by the freedom of the profession and the opportunity he has to help others pursue those dreams.

“My favorite part of this business really comes down to the endless potential of what you can do, including the number of people I get to help or what a client can accomplish,” Avery says.

“There are so many people that we meet. I love helping them purchase their home, estate or first flip. It really is about the people. Plus, along the way, it gives me the freedom of schedule to live a dream of my own.”

Early Views of the Business
Avery earned his real estate license in February 2022. In some ways, Avery’s involvement in the industry might have been predicted years ago. His father, Will Grant, runs CRM Built, a residential builder.

“I grew up working on job sites. So I was always around it,” Avery remembers.

As he came of age, Avery proved himself as a standout baseball player in high school. He had planned on pursuing the sport at the collegiate level. However, a hamstring injury sidelined him.

“I was healing, but something about it just didn’t feel right,” he recalls. “I felt like I needed something different.”

Making a Fast Start
Whenever the topic of what he would do in his future came up, Avery answered “Real estate.”

As he says, “I hadn’t ever really talked with dad about that. But at the end of the semester, he said why don’t you come back and be my REALTOR®.”

Avery spared little time in finding success—selling $13 million in sales volume in the first 12 months. He went on to record $25 million in sales volume during his first 24 months in the business.

Those who have a chance to meet and work with Avery appreciate his can-do spirit. It’s contagious, too.

“I believe every single person is more capable than what they believe, and that they can accomplish what they set their mind to. I always strive to be the best. I’m chasing after the ability to be the best version of myself. When I do that, I impact more people,” he emphasizes. “When you lay your head down on the pillow at night, it’s fulfilling to help other people."

A Life He Loves
Family time is a prized time in life for Avery. He treasures time with his wife, Myah, and their son, Harrison. Plus, they’re expecting another child in August this year. He also cherishes the close connection he has with his parents—Will and Tiffany.

“The gratitude I have for my mom and dad is unbelievable,” he says with a smile. “I have a purpose and joy of having a family of my own.”

He also has a drive to stay engaged in the community. Church is a big part of his life as part of the Fellowship of Christ.

“It brings a peace and joy I can’t find anywhere else. A couple months ago I ran my second marathon,” he says.

Other favorite pursuits include weightlifting. He also is a prime example of lifelong learning. He enjoys meditating, along with staying connected with his church family.

Giving Back
In his free time, Avery also gives back to the community. One of his favorite organizations to be involved with through time has been Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

“A friend of mine at Alpha (Chase Mills) got me linked up with that,” he explains. “I do the lunch buddy program and sit down and have lunch once a week with a kid that is trying to learn and grow.”

Avery offers helpful tips for others who are getting their real estate career in gear.

“First, I’d say that your purpose has to be beyond career achievement. If you chase the money or the appeal of being a REALTOR®, sooner or later, it will be very empty,” he says. “If you have the right goals and intentions and willing to work to pay down your ignorance for a time, it will work.”

With a blend of care, hard work and purpose, Avery brings a true sense of faith in action to those that he serves.

“What I do is not for my glory. It’s for the Lord and what I see in my clients,” he points out. “As part of that I focus on what people can achieve.”

Day by day, Avery Grant exemplifies what it means to have the freedom to dream … and to pursue those visions of the future.
