That’s the same spirit that guides the efforts of Ashley Hicks.
Opening New Doors
As a real estate agent with Murney, she shares her vision for what’s possible with her clients… pursuing every opportunity on their behalf.
“I love meeting new people and learning about what they are trying to achieve, whether it’s a new home or moving up to a second home,” Ashley says.
“Helping my clients achieve their goals in homeownership is such a rewarding feeling to me.”
Getting Her Start
Ashley got her start in real estate when she first worked as an assistant for a year. After that, she moved forward to get her own license. In time, she went out on her own and joined Murney. In turn, she hit the ground running.
“I think a big reason for my success early on was the fact that I was able to align myself with people who were achieving goals that I wanted to reach, as well,” Ashley recalls.
As she looks back on her relatively young real estate career that started in 2017, Ashley has extreme gratitude for those who were there at her side, mentoring and guiding her way forward.
“I have several mentors who helped me achieve those goals and figure out where I was trying to go with my business. I did a lot of masterminding with them. I don’t know what I would do without them,” Ashley points out.
“It means a lot learning from others in the business, including those in my brokerage, vendors and people who are seasoned in the business. Aligning myself with those successful people has really broadened my horizons for helping people in this industry.”
Signs of Success
Ashley has been recognized as a top producer for several years.
The drive behind it all for Ashley is serving client needs.
“Being a resource for my clients is my main priority. I love having the opportunity to be part of my clients’ story,” she says.
“Treating each client like family is our mission and for them to know we have their best interests at heart.”
In the process, Ashley is very thankful for her small team (including two other agents and a Transaction Coordinator) that focuses on rural communities, called 417 Homes & Land.
Family Foundation
The people behind Ashley’s success at home have been pivotal in her efforts, as well. She cherishes time with her husband, Andy, and their three sons — Jaiden, Hudson, and Grayson.
“Family time is number one. We enjoy spending summer days at the lake on the water,” Ashley says. “Plus, our kids love to play sports, so that keeps us pretty busy, too. If you don’t find me with my clients, you’ll probably find me on the sidelines of a field cheering my babies on.”
When it comes to giving back, Ashley likes to invest in the community of Fair Grove.
“We support PTO, Booster Club, Quarterback Club, and the cheerleaders,” Ashley says. “We invest our dollars back into our community and school system.”
Two years ago Ashley says her youngest son had a serious accident. She has gratitude for the work done by the hospital and the Kids Life organization.
“They were the advocates for our son. We donate to them and we take Christmas presents to them for their patients,” Ashley explains. “That money also goes for funding service dogs for the kids and making it a homier environment for kids who are there… to help them feel good and safe.”
With her compassionate, fun, and trustworthy approach, Ashley makes a vital impact on the lives of those around her. And it all begins with the way she takes the time to share her vision.
