Serving 12 counties in Missouri and Kansas, Total Home Analysis is an industry leader in residential appraisal and consulting services, home inspections, radon gas measurements, and square footage calculations. President Todd Reed started in the appraisal industry in 1998 when he became a staff appraiser for a local appraisal company in Lee's Summit, MO.  He has experience in over 15 Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas counties. “The bulk of our business is to help mortgage lenders with the appraisal process,” says Reed. “We also perform consulting work for attorneys, cash buyers, and investors needing an expert opinion on providing valuation services.” 

With over 100 years of combined experience in residential appraisals, Total Home Analysis is a professional dream team. “Brad Levine has been in the industry for over 25 years, and Mindy Nielsen and Ryan Abernathy have over 20 years of appraisal experience. I couldn’t do this without them,” says Todd. “Together, we take great pride in developing lasting relationships with clients. Honest, well-researched information is what we strive to provide to all of our clients. Having a staff or team of appraisers and home inspectors lets our clients feel like we are always available, which is very important in a time-sensitive industry!” 

Real estate agents are involved in most of Total Home Analysis’ transactions.  “We work hand in hand with agents during the home inspection, ensuring their client has pertinent information about the home under contract.  We also assist agents with 360-degree photography, square footage accuracy, and radon gas measurements on the pre-listing side of the deal,” shares Todd. 

For Total Home Analysis, quick growth isn’t their business goal. Instead, their goal is to provide a steady group of educated professionals who provide correct results. “The real estate industry is ever-changing, and we plan to be at the forefront of that landscape,” says Todd. “We were among the first companies to use wireless field software in the appraisal and home inspection industries. Transferring data and results back to the office quicker so our findings could be communicated quicker to our clients was a massive step forward in adapting to client needs. Whatever the changes that may come, Total Home Analysis will be ahead of the curve and very familiar with how to deliver the best quality work to our clients.” 

Looking to the future, Total Home Analysis plans to continue letting their business roots run deep. “We've been doing this for 25 years and we don't plan on going anywhere,” says Todd. “We will continue to try and provide honest, correct, and well-researched appraisal, inspection, and square footage information to our clients and the general public. Clients will come, and clients will go, but Total Home Analysis will be a fixture in the Southwest Missouri Real Estate landscape for many years to come.”
