How the new live and online training series by Alamo Title and the Tom Ferry Teams are taking real estate professionals’ businesses to the next level

Meet Ashley Polito Dunlap and Cory Turner, two teammates and visionaries who are determined to create an innovative training series for real estate professionals unlike anything that a title company has done before.
 
Before working together at Alamo Title, Ashley and Cory each navigated different experiences that gave rise to their individual servant-leader philosophies. 

“From entrepreneurship to intrapreneurship, I have held various roles in my career involving business development, sales, marketing and public relations,” Ashley said. “My motivation and passion come from creating positive change in people’s lives through innovative ideas and strategies. Nothing makes me happier than seeing people succeed in their business and in their life!” 

Before joining Alamo, Ashley said that one of her most rewarding experiences was leading a team of more than 200 phenomenal women at Mary Kay Cosmetics where she also achieved the iconic pink Cadillac.

Cory has always been in sales at some level. He started off in the real estate industry in 1995 as an agent, then as a title company business development representative. From there he moved to ADT Home Security and worked his way up to area director for all West Texas before he returned to the real estate industry in 2016 to join Alamo Title. But it’s his creative side that he credits with giving him the ability to build relationships. 

“I’m a filmmaker, and I’ve been lucky enough to have movies I’ve written, directed and produced distributed around the world,” Cory said. “Using my creative side has helped me connect with agents, especially in the field of social media video.”

Putting the FUN in Fun Friday

That is exactly what more than 500 real estate agents are doing every week with Alamo Title’s Fun Fridays, an online training series that is bringing together industry-leading experts to share their success secrets and teach “plays” that can take an agent’s business to the next level.
 
“Teaming up with the Tom Ferry organization, one of the best coaching and training companies in the real estate industry, if not the best, is an example of our focus and dedication to bringing our agent community the critical support and strategies they’re looking for—particularly in challenging times— to accelerate their business,” Ashley said.
 
Cory added that Fun Fridays gives participants not only the highest quality training, but unique strategies that they can use no matter the state of the real estate market. 
                                                        
“The real estate market is tough right now,” Cory said. “When times are tough, we surround ourselves with talented, creative people who find amazing ways to move business forward.”
 
Peter Carr, Business Development Manager for Tom Ferry International explained how even though real estate professionals are constantly talking to clients, colleagues and other professionals, it can sometimes feel like a solitary struggle for success. 
 
“Real estate can be a lonely business,” Peter said. “[With Fun Fridays], Ashley, Cory and their team have created a community and reliable space where real estate professionals can share best practices and have fun together every week.”
 
Peter added that the value of Fun Fridays is providing participants the tools needed to compete and grow in what has been a volatile market over the last six to seven months. 
 
“Being a part of this Fun Fridays’ community is uplifting,” said Peter. “We have fun with it.”
 
It’s more than just training
So what makes Fun Fridays so popular? The answer is easy. Besides having an entertaining atmosphere, Ashley, Cory and the coaches from Tom Ferry are unwavering about packing every training with actionable strategies that agents can implement on the spot to keep their businesses thriving.
 
“What we do at Tom Ferry is add value to the clients we serve and examine what playbooks are working. We have 12,000 clients and we coach about a third of the agents who are producing more than a $1 million in sales volume,” Peter said. “What I love about Fun Fridays is the agents who come every week show up to learn with questions. There is a reason they RSVP. They want to know how to get more listings, generate more leads, get more consistent in their business and improve their presence online.”
 
Ashley and Cory along with their Alamo Title team have a vision with Fun Fridays, and they are not slowing down. 
 
“Our focus is on the value add,” said Cory. “We are constantly pushing ourselves to bring more value to our clients than the competition. This can be through personal relationships, experiences, education, instruction, guidance and culture.”
Ashley and Cory added that the guest coaches and trainers have personally completed the steps they teach and know the strategies that drive results.
“These aren’t tired, old boring classes,” said Cory. “Every Friday is full of energy and has the feeling of being part of a strong, supportive and collaborative community.”
