Jeff’s career in finance began with assisting individuals facing credit challenges in obtaining loans for vehicles and other necessities. His desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives led him naturally into the mortgage industry.

"I wanted to help people," Jeff reflects. "It’s about more than just numbers; it’s about accountability and ensuring people get the support they need."

What sets Jeff apart is not just his expertise but his genuine enthusiasm for his work. 

"I really love strategy games," Jeff explains. "In mortgage lending, it’s like putting together a

puzzle—making sure everything fits perfectly to avoid problems down the road."

Beyond the numbers, Jeff treasures the relationships he builds with clients from diverse backgrounds.

"I’ve helped people from more than 70 countries," he points out. "Each interaction is an opportunity to learn and grow, and I believe in forging friendships that last".

Jeff’s dedication extends beyond his professional life. He is deeply involved in his community,

volunteering his time and skills wherever needed.

His reverence for service is also evident in his work with veterans, whom he assists in navigating the VA home loan process.

"I have a lot of family and friends who’ve served," Jeff explains. "Helping veterans find homes is not just fulfilling—it’s a tribute to their sacrifices."

Jeff dives in to solve issues and find solutions to move deals forward.

"We handle a myriad of loan products from the traditional to bank statement loans or business owners and even construction/rehab/renovation," Jeff says.

Away from work, Jeff enjoys time outdoors. As a former Scout Master and creator of

UwharrieOutdoorResources.com (@UwharrieOutdoorResources on Facebook and TikTok), an outdoor resource site, Jeff shares his love for camping, fishing, kayaking, and hiking. 

"Being outdoors teaches valuable skills," Jeff remarks. "It’s about more than just recreation; it’s about connecting with nature and fostering a sense of community."

Jeff’s knows many clients often enter the process nervous and uncertain. His goal is to ease their concerns and guide them through every step.

"It’s a big decision," Jeff acknowledges. "By the end, many clients tell me it was smoother than they expected. That’s the result of personal attention and staying involved throughout."

For Jeff, the future is about continuing to serve his community and enhance his clients’ experiences.

“My goal is forge partnerships where we can work together and both succeed. In an ideal relationship, it is a two-way street. If your loan officer is just asking for business, call me. We can work together to truly build your business,” he says. “I am always learning and adapting.

Through my lending experience and skills with marketing I have learned a lot that will help you. Via the camping site that my friend and I are building, I have learned skills that can be put to use to improve my realtor partners’ marketing image and reach.”
