Savannah Armstrong, McGraw REALTORS®
Writing Their Next Chapters
Each person you meet and work with has a story to tell … and they look to you to help them navigate their way to the closing table and beyond.
Savannah Armstrong excels in that role with her clients, as well.
As a REALTOR® with McGraw REALTORS® at the South Memorial Office, Savannah has a passion for helping those she serves in writing the next chapters in their lives.
“I love being able to just get to know people. I love the people aspect of my job. I get to meet families and hear their stories and what’s important to them,” Savannah says.
“In the process, I get to teach them about this whole process. The people are the heart of this. The way I look at it, I’m not in sales. I’m in the people business. My favorite part is working with families and being part of their stories.”
Early Steps
Before getting into real estate, Savannah moved to Houston, where she worked her way into design. She also taught.
“I started working with co-workers and did some projects at church. In the process, I found a love for design. If I had gone back to college, I would have pursued a degree in interior design and making spaces like bathrooms and living rooms better and handling remodels on the side, and I didn’t know how that would correlate into a career,” Savannah says.
“Design was hard to get into. So I spent a lot of time praying about it. One day I felt God speak to me, and I heard the words ‘real estate.’ I hadn’t thought about it. I got that sign when I was 27 and then didn’t move to Tulsa for another two years. We moved here to Tulsa in 2019, and I started studying while continuing teaching. I taught for 10 years. And then I taught while I got my start and earned my license in June 2020.”
Savannah spent a lot of time at the office learning from other agents and learning from her broker. At the same time, she took classes and balanced both for a year and a half.
“Last summer, I had seven deals going at one time, and I was bringing on a couple of new listings,” she remembers. “In the meantime, school was about to start, and I realized that I couldn’t continue doing both. My business told me when it was time to go full-time.”
Fast Start
Savannah immediately made her presence in the industry known. In fact, she earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2021 by recording $5 million in sales volume, representing 19 transactions.
In 2022, Savannah also enjoyed a very rewarding accomplishment—co-listing the McBirney Mansion with Curt Roberts for $8.5 million.
Family Foundation
Away from work, Savannah’s world is made much richer by her husband, Mason Armstrong.
“Together, Mason and I have a dream life,” she says with a smile. “I’m super thankful for him and my family.”
In their free time, Savannah and Mason enjoy playing golf together.
“Mason has an outdoor pool business. We love working on that together,” she says. “We also love design. That’s something that we work on together … designing and landscaping.”
They also have two dogs that they love spending time with, as well.
Qualities of a Leader
When you talk with Savannah, it’s easy to see the qualities that continue to draw people to work with her, including her kindness, compassion and caring spirit.
As she says with a smile, “I really care about the people I work with and their stories. I want to make sure they are heard. I’m someone who listens.”
Congratulations to Savannah Armstrong for demonstrating the qualities that make her successful in life and business … as she helps others write their next chapters.
