Andrew Regenhard on Publishing a Real Producers Magazine

Andrew Regenhard found an incredible real estate community in SWFL and enjoys working for himself and bringing his community together.

My market is unbelievable. I say that in all seriousness. The opportunities are endless in Southwest Florida (SWFL). This area is sprinkled with so many unique people in different stages of their lives. And the area is so clean and healthy – I love that! The people love to help support small businesses, as a lot of business owners live here. It helps that the market is on fire and everyone wants to move to Florida right now! I am so lucky to have a Real Producers presence down here and I recently celebrated my one-year anniversary launching SWFL Real Producers magazine.

The SWFL real estate market was missing a movement like this prior to me launching the magazine. A lot of agents said there was a void in this market and we were filling it with SWFL Real Producers. They love how it brings together the top agents amongst all brokerages. We held a successful launch party last year, and plan to hold our next event at the new local Ferrari dealership. To commemorate our top agents and celebrate them, we also hold small magazine release parties each month and give our featured agents a copy of their framed article.

I think SWFL Real Producers as a publication has truly helped bridge the gap between all brokerages in the area. The support has been outstanding and I love how the real estate agents pour back into my partners! All around, we’ve been able to do some great things in the community, highlight a great nonprofit, Wounded Warriors of Collier County, and keep the excitement going digitally through Facebook, Instagram, and even YouTube!

Andrew’s Journey to SWFL

I was born and raised in Wisconsin, and I loved growing up in the Midwest. I still believe the midwestern values are among the best. I grew up in Prescott, Wisconsin, right across the Mississippi River from the Twin Cities — St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Being right on the river, my family went boating every weekend. It’s our passion, and we couldn’t get enough of it. The desire for year-round boating ultimately brought my family down to Florida.

After high school, I went to the University of North Dakota to get my B.S. in Aeronautics. I specialized in fixed-wing and unmanned aircrafts. After vigorous pilot training, I became a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) and was privileged to teach new students at the University of North Dakota how to fly.

Not long after teaching at the university, I was offered a military contract job that I couldn’t pass up. I traveled around the United States for training, but most of my work was overseas. Traveling around the world was an eye-opening and educational experience, to say the least. After a 14-month deployment to Afghanistan, I truly appreciated that raw and unfiltered experience to help me understand how fortunate we are in the United States.

After deployment, I switched to an instructor role that was stateside in Washington, near Portland, Oregon. If you have not visited the Pacific Northwest in the summer, you are missing out. It’s breathtaking!

I established a life in Washington, however, my parents were down in SWFL. My dad’s health started declining drastically, and I knew I had to be down here for my parents. I sold my house, packed a U-Haul, drove 3500 miles down here, and I haven’t looked back. Being near my family is the most important thing to me.

Sometimes you know the path is not a straight line but instead an emotional, zig-zag movement. I am really excited about the path ahead and I am thrilled about all of the upcoming adventures with Real Producers and The N2 Company!
