June marks the three-year anniversary of Indy Top Producers magazine – the OG RP. We're excited to share this Publisher's Note from the man, the myth, the legend: Area Director Remington Ramsey.

If you are unfamiliar with the Real Producers story, this may help fill in the gaps.

Back in 2014, I had an idea to help connect top-producing agents with vendors and with other top producers. We started off with just a handful of events and an email newsletter. The game changer came in June of 2015 when we had a full launch of our publication.

Dick Richwine graced the cover of the 32-page publication with an article entitled, “Real Happiness is in Giving.” I know that I have seen many of you collect every issue since the beginning, if you were a top producer from the start. It’s amazing to see the transformation over the last three years... even from issue to issue. This issue marks the three-year anniversary of what has been an incredible ride.

There are a few reasons why the magazine has grown so rapidly. One of the biggest reasons is the fact that real estate agents are bombarded on a regular basis with everyone who wants their money. It’s true.

The fact that the magazine is free to the top 500 agents and that they pay nothing to be featured is a fundamental shift in thinking when it comes to real estate publications. Most publications have the pay-to-play model. Personally, I believe the fact that all of the features are nominated makes us stand above the rest. We don’t accept payment or give the cover to the highest bidder.

We started with one publication here in Indy and have grown to over 60 markets in just three short years. Our team has worked very hard, and I am so proud of the growth of the product but more importantly the individuals. From the REALTORS® we feature to the partners who advertise, every person involved has played an integral part in our success. I am so thankful to all of you.
