Linda Clure

LIV Sotheby’s

Before becoming a Realtor, Linda Clure worked in her family’s gift store in Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston. Linda shares: “I have fond memories of working behind the cash register, leading arts and crafts lessons, and helping customers find that ‘perfect gift’ at an early age. However, what I remember most about those years is learning how to build a successful business from my mom, Betty. Looking back, I realize what an inspiration she has been to me my whole life, both personally and professionally. A mother of six, she was a strong-willed, successful businessperson in her own right, growing her small arts and crafts business into a lucrative retail business in this wonderful historic marketplace. In fact, her drive inspired me to take the leap and try real estate, and I am so grateful that she did!”

Linda moved to Denver after meeting her husband in 1988, and after their daughter Kaitlyn was born, she wanted a flexible career that allowed her to be home until Kaitlyn started school. Linda started selling real estate for a small company in 1997, and while there, she was fortunate to work with and learn from a great managing broker and mentor. This positive experience stuck with her and is the reason she loves mentoring new agents today.

Now, with over 20 years of extensive experience in the Denver real estate market, Linda has earned numerous prestigious accolades in her field, including recognition in 2022 and 2023 by America’s Best Real Estate Professionals as one of the top 1.5% of 1.6 million real estate professionals in the United States.

Still, today, Linda insists that selling real estate has always felt natural to her, and she is grateful to have the opportunity to do what she loves: helping others. “Selling or purchasing a home is a significant milestone in a person’s life, and I enjoy helping my clients through the process, guiding them to what is possible, and alleviating some of the stress that can accompany such an important purchase. I also love the creative aspect of showcasing homes, the challenge of staging, photographs, videos, and social media,” she elaborates. Following those interests, she will host an Emmy Award-winning TV show, The American Dream, in the middle of this year.

Linda has been with LIV Sotheby’s for seven years. She came to LIV Sotheby’s with the expectation that she would be able to serve her client’s needs, whether it be a small transaction or a multimillion-dollar deal. She wants each person to feel as if they have had the same luxury experience, and is appreciative of LIV Sotheby’s for providing the platform to broaden her range of customers and provide a full-service brokerage experience with a global reach.

One of Linda’s strongest attributes as a Realtor is her ability to provide a realistic, informed outlook of today’s competitive market for her clients. She wants them to understand how the current real estate market is trending and find the right fit for each buyer and seller. “Right now, we are in a changing market and people are afraid of making the wrong decision. It is my job to guide them through the process. As a Realtor of 26 years, I have experienced the challenges of our up and down markets. I believe real estate can be one of the best investments you make, but it's all about timing and individual goals. Every client is unique. It is my job to know their needs.”

Since day one, Linda’s favorite part of being a Realtor is doing a great job for her clients. “I want my clients to be happy with the end results, and for them to know they can rely on me to make sure they are getting the best services possible. When a client refers me to other clients and family members, this tells me I did what I set out to do.”

One way that Linda is constantly evolving her business approach is by learning how to best delegate with her team. “I want to give my clients my utmost attention, but caring so passionately about my work can also make it challenging to delegate sometimes. Thankfully, I have two amazing members of my team, Robin and Leigh, who make it possible to work towards and establish a work-life balance, which is so important.”

When she’s not working, Linda enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married for over 30 years to her husband Jim, and they have one child, Kaitlyn. They also have two “spoiled” Maltese dogs, Jack and Buddy who are the joys of her life! As a family, they enjoy the simpler things in life. “I come from a big Italian family and food is important to us. I love cookbooks and experimenting with new recipes but ultimately always stick with the tried and true, such as meatballs on a Sunday!” Linda also enjoys traveling and exploring the world. She has visited China, Australia, New Zealand, and many parts of Europe, including, most recently, London and Paris with her sister and Kaitlyn.

Giving back is important to Linda, and she is passionate about animal rights. Linda supports various animal rescue organizations including Misfits Dog Rescue and National Mill Dog Rescue.  She also works closely with Fostering Love Rescue, founded a few years ago by one of her clients, Mollie. This non-profit animal sanctuary adopts rescued, lame horses and other hoofed animals to provide a loving and safe environment through the end of life, as well as offering shelter to dogs and cats at risk for homelessness.

At the end of the day, for Linda, success is straightforward, and to define it she is reminded of her mom.

She explains: “Be a good person to others. Be patient, understanding, and treat others with kindness, especially during the stressful moments that can come up during a real estate transaction. Getting my clients across the finish line and having them enjoy the journey as much as possible, for me, is success. I want my clients to know that I truly care about them.”
