Christina and Kelly Kim

Sibling Camaraderie

One might expect the more commonly used term “sibling rivalry” but this couldn’t be farther
rom the truth with Christina and Kelly Kim from the Larson Real Estate Team, brokered by eXp
Realty. These fierce sisters are about as copacetic as you can get. If Marvel made a movie
about real estate dynamos, these go-getters just might be the rising stars.

Christina, big sister to Kelly, has been a licensed agent since 2018 and working for eXp since
2021 after being recruited by Jeremy Larson. Despite a bit of “why me?” skepticism, Christina
soon found herself under contract and all that doubt faded away. “I literally got into, I think, three contracts within two months,” says Christina. It was then the two sisters realized that Kelly - a licensed agent in Los Angeles at the time - should interview with the Larson Real Estate Team as well and the rest is history. Together they have closed 43 sales under their designer belts. “That’s very common on this team. For the new people who join the Larson Team, it’s not surprising to have a contract within two weeks,” says Kelly. The Kim Sisters attribute this to the comprehensive system they have in place and the company team support provided by the Larson Team. “We’re a group of twenty. We’re always collaborating. Twice a week we’re on a Zoom meeting with each other,“ Christina emphasizes. “We never feel alone.” Their sales territory can spread throughout the entire Monterey County and even down to Los Angeles and
up to the Bay Area. “I had a lead who was looking in Monterey and took me all the way to Livermore,” Kelly says. “She’s in contract right now in L.A.” Christina interjects. When asked to recall an unusual client or sale, Kelly has a doozy. “I had a client looking for a property because
they needed to have a cow,” she says. Actually, it turned out to be two cows. A minor detail in an otherwise funny story.

Christina and Kelly were homegrown here on the Peninsula. As young girls, they were fascinated by houses. They would ride along in the back seat of their family car admiring the
beach homes along Ocean View Blvd in Pacific Grove envisioning what houses they would buy.
Self-described as polar opposites they play off one another with a comfortable, familial cadence as if they’re speaking in a special “sister language” that’s lovely to witness and often quite comical. This combination of energies is infectious and absolutely charming. An hour with these two and you feel energized. Christina wears her enthusiasm like a bold, colorful costume. She doesn’t enter a room, she bursts onto the scene, hair on fire. Kelly, with her calm, peaceful professionalism is not far behind with a fire extinguisher making sure the place doesn’t burn down. Both are obviously comfortable in their own skins and love each other fiercely.

Family has been the cornerstone that has shaped the Kim Sisters. Christina is the mother of
beloved little boy, Kayleb James. Kelly is the devoted aunt. They rely on each other and support each other in ways that enhance both their work lives and their private lives. Their parents and grandparents are Korean immigrants who instilled in them the importance of hard work, respecting others, appreciating where they came from and always doing the right thing.
Their grandparents owned liquor stores where the girls worked as youngsters. “We grew up in
the stores. We had two stores and were there during summer vacation making sure all the bean cans weren’t dusty and forward facing,” Christina tells us. “We grew up with a lot of structure in our lives,” Kelly says. Structure as well as gratitude is evident with these two. They both wanted to make sure their team leader, Jeremy Larson was properly thanked. They attribute their success to him and the faith he had in them.

And there you have it, dear readers. Christina and Kelly Kim are on the scene and ready to be
the best real estate advocates. No doubt they’ll get the house of their client's dreams….and don’t be surprised when you get hooked on their incredible enthusiasm. It’s the real deal and comes straight from the heart!
