Adam Bomarito

From Pouring Drinks to Closing Deals, Former Bartender Becomes a Real Estate Agent

“I’ve always had a passion for helping people,” says Adam Bomarito. “It sounds cliché, but it is embedded in my DNA.”

Starting off as a waiter and bartender, Adam worked in the hospitality industry in such notable places as Cibo and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. He made the switch to real estate 6 years ago. He explains, “I had the opportunity to work the front desk at Keller Williams Coastal Estates. During that time, I studied to get my license and it worked out perfectly. I saw firsthand the day of the life of a real estate agent. I saw agents talk about deals going on and I was involved in team meetings on a weekly basis.” He got his license in 2017 and discovered he was a natural in the real estate industry. He credits his experience in the service industry to building strong relationships with his clients and helping them navigate the complex world of buying and selling property. His background made him into the service-driven real estate professional that he is today.

Blazing His Own Trail

It was at Keller Williams Coastal Estate that Adam met Pete Ruiz and he joined his group in 2018. “The knowledge gained from being on his team is absolutely priceless,” raves Adam. “I really appreciate him believing in me as a new agent.”

Recently, Adam left that top-performing real estate team to grow his own real estate brand with eXp. As a solo agent, he appreciates working in a brick-and-mortar office in Monterey. He says, “That was a deciding factor for me to join eXp.” He loves real estate and it shows with his passion and enthusiasm, always putting his clients first.

Fortunate for Family

A third-generation resident in Monterey, Adam is the middle child with two brothers. His loving and hard-working mother left an impression on him.

“I can’t thank my mom, Mary Ann, enough,” smiles Adam. “She worked extremely hard to provide for my brothers and me every single day to make sure that we had a comfortable life growing up.” Adam also has fond childhood memories of his grandparents, affectionately named Nonna and Nonno, in Monterey. His grandfather cooked food for him and his brothers every single night during the week. “I was very blessed to have an abundance of love and support from all my family members.” Adam valued the meaning of “home,” which was instilled in him at a young age. Now he helps others find the home of their dreams as a Top Producer.

Learning for Life

An avid athlete, Adam played baseball from 5 years old to 13 years of age. “I also got into golf, which became my new obsession.” He worked his way up to captain of the varsity golf team in high school. “That was my moment of pride and joy,” he beams with pride. “Playing sports teaches you total dedication and discipline to your craft – to practice on a daily basis and continue to get better.”

Adam learned life lessons from golf. He found real estate to use the same principles he learned on the golf green – dedication, discipline, and consistency. The more he practiced golf, the better he got. Similarly, the more he did real estate, the more he honed his sales skills, his negotiation skills, and the ability to connect with others.

Hard Work Pays Off

Adam's story is one of passion, hard work, and dedication. From pouring drinks to closing deals, he has come a long way, thanks to his natural customer service skills and his ability to learn and adapt quickly. With his focus and determination, he is poised for continued success in the real estate industry.
